The MJB Clinic was founded by Sam in the Autumn of 2015, with the aim to build a patient-centred, multidisciplinary clinic, providing care to patients of all ages.
Sam graduated from Oxford Brookes achieving a distinction in a master's degree in osteopathy. Sam has experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. However, he specialises in sports injuries, an area of osteopathy Sam feels very passionate about.
During the completion of his master's degree, Sam also completed an ITEC level 3 diploma in sports massage to complement his osteopathy skills. During his training, Sam worked in clinical settings both in Swindon and in Oxford, treating a wide range of conditions. Since then, Sam has worked as an osteopath at the Chatteris Osteopaths Clinic, which he will continue to do so on a monthly basis.
Prior to completing his osteopathy degree, Sam was a professional football player for Peterborough United FC. Consequently, he has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation, and the importance of ensuring an athlete’s body can operate at optimum condition. Whilst importantly, he understands the pressures of competition at high-level sport, and the demands it places upon your body. Since qualifying, Sam has worked with rugby players, golfers, football players, rowers and marathon runners, to both prevent and treat injury. Sam continues to develop his skills further, completing a training course in kinesiology taping, to help offer a greater array of treatment modalaties to his patients.
Sam is a fully registered and insured osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (Reg-9331) and Balens Insurance Brokers Ltd.
