About Us

Welcome to the MJB Clinic

We opened the Putney clinic in 2015, with the aim to provide patient-centred treatments in a friendly atmosphere.

We have a particular interest and experience in sports rehabilitation both lower back pain & shoulder pain. However, we see many people within the community, notably working professionals, who develop aches and pains as a result of the desk-based environment in which they work.

Here at MJB Clinic, we pride ourselves on being patient-centred, comprehensive and professional. This means every consultation is tailored specifically to you, ensuring all aspects of the complaint are examined and managed, helping you get back on your feet pain-free and as quickly as possible.

Sam Cole, MOst Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist

The MJB Clinic was founded by Sam in the Autumn of 2015, with the aim to build a patient-centred, multidisciplinary clinic, providing care to patients of all ages.

Sam graduated from Oxford Brookes achieving a distinction in a master's degree in osteopathy. Sam has experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. However, he specialises in sports injuries, an area of osteopathy Sam feels very passionate about.

During the completion of his master's degree, Sam also completed an ITEC level 3 diploma in sports massage to complement his osteopathy skills. During his training, Sam worked in clinical settings both in Swindon and in Oxford, treating a wide range of conditions. Since then, Sam has worked as an osteopath at the Chatteris Osteopaths Clinic, which he will continue to do so on a monthly basis.

Prior to completing his osteopathy degree, Sam was a professional football player for Peterborough United FC. Consequently, he has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation, and the importance of ensuring an athlete’s body can operate at optimum condition. Whilst importantly, he understands the pressures of competition at high-level sport, and the demands it places upon your body. Since qualifying, Sam has worked with rugby players, golfers, football players, rowers and marathon runners, to both prevent and treat injury. Sam continues to develop his skills further, completing a training course in kinesiology taping, to help offer a greater array of treatment modalaties to his patients.

Sam is a fully registered and insured osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (Reg-9331) and Balens Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Bobby Difiore, B.Ost (Hons) Osteopath & Sports Massage Therapist

Bobby first discovered Osteopathy when seeking treatment for minor aches and pains acquired from rugby, and became fascinated in the Osteopathic approach to the workings of the body. After a succession of more serious injuries Osteopathy helped Bobby recover and progress to a greater level of performance. His first hand experience is what drives his passion for injury prevention and recovery, as well as performance enhancement. Other than his interests in sports related injuries, Bobby places emphasis on the treatment of posture-related pain, which inspired his dissertation on the treatment of pain during pregnancy.

Bobby holds a Bachelors Degree in Osteopathy from Oxford Brookes University, as well as a level 3 ITECH Diploma in Sports Massage and is a certified CYQ level 2 Fitness Instructor. Bobby also volunteers as an Osteopath for The Disability Foundation, who provide a variety of interventions to people with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
